Obituary for Mrs. Priscilla Mary Bellamy (Lagimodiere)

Mrs. Priscilla Mary Bellamy (Lagimodiere)
Mrs. Priscilla Bellamy (nee Lagimodiere), age 84 years, passed away peacefully in hospital on Thursday, June 8, 2017 with her family by her side.

Priscilla was born in Fort Garry, Manitoba and was the youngest of 8 children to Damase and Angeline Lagimodiere. She met and married Herbert Bellamy. They then moved to Fort William, Ontario. Priscilla and Herbert shared over 47 years of marriage, during which time they raised their family.

After raising her children, she enjoyed working at Grandview Lodge until her retirement. Priscilla enjoyed using her computer, baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting and gardening. One of her proudest accomplishments was getting her driver’s license at the age of 65. Priscilla loved her family and will be deeply missed by all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Priscilla is survived by her children: Wayne (France) of Montreal, Donna (Blaine) Poff of Winnipeg, Karen Trewin (Ken), Debbie (John) Ulakovic and Roleen (Jim) Stewardson; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren with one more on the way. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Eveline Koch as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert as well as her parents and 7 siblings.

As per her wishes, a private family service will be held with interment to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Should friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Priscilla to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
