It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Catherine Derosier, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister on Sunday, Juine 18, 2017 in Toronto, Ontario.

Catherine was born on October 29, 1943 in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She spent her youth in Parry Sound, Ontario, where she met and married her husband, Robert Derosier. Later, they settled in Thunder Bay, Ontario where Catherine worked for many years as a high school English teacher. Catherine was an avid traveller and spent many winters cruising around the world with her husband. She also had a passion for painting and has filled the house with her beautiful artwork from her travels around the world.

Catherine is survived by her husband Robert Derosier, daughter Danielle Derosier, son Desmond Derosier, grandchildren Mackenzie, Jaxon, Sam, and Lily and sister Elsie Sparks.

Predecased by her parents, Duncan and Mary Kerr.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.

If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northern Cardiac Fund.
