FEBRUARY 2, 1936 – FEBRUARY 20, 2018

Mr. Branko Prpic, age 82 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in Hogarth Riverview Manor with his family by his side.

Branko was born and raised in Croatia. He married Eva in 1964 and enjoyed working as a cabinet maker before moving to Canada in 1969. He worked at Shaw Bakery in Thunder Bay until his retirement in 2001.

Branko will be sadly missed by his wife, Eva; son Mike (Marie); brothers Joe (Barbara), Peter (in Croatia); cousin Eugene (Brenda); niece, Marija Graholiski (in Croatia); dear friends Peter and Mara Mudrovic and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends in Canada and Croatia.

Predeceased by his parents in Croatia.

Funeral services for the late Mr. Branko Prpic will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 with family and friends gathering in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Croatian Catholic Church for the Funeral Mass at 10:00am celebrated by Fr. Francisco Blazek. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 6:30pm until 8:00pm in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma, with the Vigil Prayers offered at 7:30pm.

Should friends so desire, donations my be made to Hogarth Riverview Manor.
