Condolence: As a young police cadet I met Peter in 1984 and eventually learned what a truly fine example of a human being, role model and police officer he was. I have nothing but the fondest memories and utmost respect for Pete. I am deeply saddened by this loss and offer my sincerest condolences to family and friends. Condolence: Uncle Peter became my Hero during the summer of 1969 when we lived as neighbours. After all, who didn't want to be a police officer when grown up! But I was also able to know him as a person and family member. He and Aunty Dona were there for me as a teen, they became my "extra" parents. His love has greatly influenced my life today. I always knew I could count on him when I felt I needed prayer. His laugh, hugs and joie de vivre taught me much. He would also send me family pictures via the internet. In many ways he was my connection to my family. I love him and miss him very much.
