Mrs. Oliva Domenis, age 82 years passed away peacefully with family by her side in St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, June 24, 2018.

Oliva was born on April 5, 1936 in Ossiach, Pulfero, Udine, Italy to Giovanni and Iolanda Marseu. She came to Canada in 1956 and married the love of her life, Edoardo in 1957. She was passionate about cooking and gardening. Family was very important to Oliva and she greatly enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.

Oliva is survived by her two daughters Grace and Elsie; three grandchildren Mark, Ryan and Kristen and special great-grandson Jack; sister Lucia; niece Anita (Chad), nephews Dario and Valerio as well as great-nephew Brandon.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edoardo (2011) and her parents.

Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Oliva Domenis will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 leaving the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley St. at Algoma at 9:50 AM to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church for the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Private interment will follow in St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening after 6:00 PM in the Chapel with Vigil Prayers offered at 7:00 PM.

If friends so desire, donations made in memory of Oliva to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
